Vol 2 Issue 63
There is no doubt that we are living in times of complexity, uncertainty, and change. We are also in an age of extreme contradictions where opposing trends appear to exist side-by-side. It is where individuals take greater care of their bodies and are obsessed by diet and health fads, while obesity is an epidemic. We live amidst a paradoxical combination of playfulness and fear, of fun and anxiety, of euphoria and unease. This is one of the articles by Kingsley L. Dennis in the JUN/AUG 2018 issue of The Art of Healing.
One of our regular writers Manuela Boyle writes about wellness, and how it is a modern concept with ancient roots, and the importance of health literacy. And we have two terrific profiles in this issue: the first on Dean Mighell, the founder of The Path of the Horse which is an organisation where horses are involved in the healing process; and the second is a profile on the music ensemble Sacred Earth. Acclaimed singer/songwriter Neil Murray also shares his passion for learning about the traditional owners of the land in Australia and how he is walking their walk. This is just a taster of what is inside this terrific issue. So get you cuppa and cuddle up this Winter with your copy of The Art of Healing.
